Win a trip to see Canada play S. Korea in Edmonton
Calling all Canadian residents!
The Canadian women’s national team returns home for the first time since June when they face South Korea on Oct. 30 in Edmonton, and you can win a trip to see the team play. The Porcupine Credit Union, endorsed by Team Canada Olympic bronze medalist and FC Kansas City star Desiree Scott, is giving away four tickets to the match, along with a two-night stay at the Delta Edmonton Centre Suite Hotel and $500 in prepaid Mastercards.
All you need to do is follow @PorcupineCU on Twitter and tweet an encouraging message with the hashtag #GoDesi to enter to win. Here are all the official rules, including how to enter if you don’t have Twitter. The deadline for entry is October 17.
Desiree Scott was one of the best midfielders in the National Women’s Soccer League in 2013, earning a spot on the second team Best XI and helping Kansas City allow just 22 goals in 22 games, the second best mark in the league.
The Oct. 30 match will be followed by Canada hosting Mexico on on Nov. 24 at BC Place in Vancouver, site of the 2015 Women’s World Cup final.
