NWSL players have decided to proceed with playing Wednesday’s (10/6) scheduled matches, the NWSL Players Association announced on Tuesday. Three matches, including Carli Lloyd’s sendoff outside Philadelphia, and home games in North Carolina and Portland — two markets especially under scrutiny following sex abuse allegations this past week — are scheduled to take place. Games were abandoned this past weekend. The PA said in the statement, “our demands will be forthcoming.”
