Sunday’s San Diego Wave-Racing Louisville match has been moved to Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville after the field at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego for the “safety and well-being of all players.” The Wave said they “exhausted” options in California. Snapdragon Stadium, owned by San Diego State University, said it was “disappointed” in the NWSL’s decision and is confident the field is safe. Louisville is fighting for a playoff berth in Sunday’s season finale.
