On Sunday, June 30, the last-place Utah Royals fired manager Amy Rodriguez after the expansion team began the season with a 2-11-2 start. The franchise also released goalkeeper coach Maryse Bard-Martel. Additionally, per the official press release, team president Michelle Hycnik will “transition to a new role” with the Blitzer Company, which owns the team. Belgian assistant coach Jimmy Coenraets will assume the role of interim head coach.
