The U.S women’s national team will host the Republic of Ireland, a FIFA Women’s World Cup-bound side, in Austin, Texas, on April 8, and St. Louis, Missouri, on April 11. During the friendlies, the first match will serve as the 100th cap for Ireland captain — and North Carolina Courage captain — Denise O’Sullivan. The Equalizer’s Jeff Kassouf confirmed the report, first made by Irish Examiner’s John Fallon.
