With a 7-1 win over Haiti, the U.S. qualified for the 2024 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup. U.S. midfielder Kimmi Ascanio, the roster’s youngest player, scored a hat trick in a seven-minute span. The U.S. will compete for the Concacaf championship on Sunday against Mexico, who defeated Canada 2-1 with a goal in extra time. If the U.S. wins, they’ll clinch a sixth Concacaf title at this age level and their third in a row.
