Washington Spirit and U.S. women’s national team forward Trinity Rodman continues to be hampered by long-term back issues as she was ruled out of her club’s NWSL match on Saturday with an uncertain timeline of return. The 22-year-old’s agent, Mike Senkowski, told The Post’s Steven Goff that Rodman is “taking time away from team activities at the moment to meet with [Spirit] doctor in London. She will return as soon as she’s healthy.”
The Spirit confirmed in a statement, “Trinity is taking time away from team activities to manage her back. We look forward to her returning when she’s healthy.”
