San Diego Wave FC has re-signed midfielder Emily van Egmond, sources with knowledge of the deal confirmed to The Equalizer. Van Egmond was an unrestricted free agent this offseason, which she qualified for through her years of service in the NWSL that stretch back to the inaugural season in 2013. The Australian international joined the Wave ahead of the team’s expansion season in 2022. She has over 100 caps for Australia.
