OL Reign has tabbed former Gotham FC head coach Scott Parkinson as the club’s “head assistant coach,” serving in Laura Harvey’s coaching staff. The move comes after Sam Laity, OL Reign’s former assistant coach, was named the head coach of the Houston Dash in December. Parkinson and Harvey have worked before, coaching the Utah Royals for two seasons in 2017-18. Parkinson will join the OL Reign staff “immediately” ahead of Thursday’s NWSL Draft.
