The Equalizer can confirm that U.S. women’s national team veteran and captain Becky Sauerbrunn will miss out on her fourth World Cup due to a foot injury. First reported by The Athletic, in addition, Savannah Demelo, Aubrey Kingsbury, and Kelley O’Hara are reportedly on the roster despite a lack of time with the team. The full USWNT roster is set to be released next week but players were informed of their roster status on Thursday.
