Sam Kerr is set to sign for NJ/NY Gotham FC on a free transfer following the expiry of her contract with Chelsea, The Athletic reports. The 32-year-old Australian striker already announced her departure from Chelsea. This will be Kerr’s second stint in the NWSL, having played for Western New York Flash from 2013 to 2014 (41 appearances, 15 goals), then Sky Blue FC from 2015 to 2017 (40 appearances, 28 goals), and the Chicago Red Stars in 2018 and 2019 (43 appearances, 35 goals), before joining Chelsea.
