According to a report from Pro Soccer Wire, Houston Dash forward Maria Sánchez has been traded to the San Diego Wave. Sánchez confirmed Thursday night on social media that she had requested a trade despite signing a record contract worth up to $1.5 million as a free agent in December. Sánchez, the Mexico international, started each of Houston’s first four matches and recorded one assist.
