In light of the Portland Thorns’ worst start to an NWSL season (0-1-3), the club has named head coach Mike Norris as its new technical director. In turn, assistant Rob Gale has been named the interim head coach. Thorns general manager Karina LeBlanc told The Athletic there is no timeline for the global search for a permanent head coach.
