The NWSLPA announced today the formation of the Players National Emergency Trust (NET), “an independent emergency and charitable trust fund to… provide financial assistance to players who cannot afford basic living expenses and will remove cost as a barrier to accessing mental health services.” Current and former pro players (including from WPS and WUSA) who are “in good standing” can apply for financial relief.
