The NWSL salary cap for each team in 2024 will be $2.75 million, the league confirmed. Allocation money is also being phased out just over four years after its introduction. Teams can no longer purchase allocation money and must spend or withdraw any outstanding money by Dec. 31, 2026. Last year’s salary cap was $1.375 million but included $600,000 in new allocation money available ($1.975 million in new money last year).
