The NWSL issued an additional three-match suspension to Racing Louisville FC forward Ary Borges after a review by the Disciplinary Committee. Borges originally received a red card for an altercation with an official after the Portland match and sat out the following match due to an automatic one-match suspension. Borges will serve her suspension over the next three matches, eligible to return on June 6.
Washington Spirit manager Jonatan Giráldez was also assessed an additional one-match suspension following his red card and ejection against Gotham FC. He will sit out Gotham’s match on May 10.
