NWSL sponsor Voyager filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Wednesday after shares reportedly lost 98% of their value since January. Voyager signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the NWSL in December which included crypto accounts and education for all players. In a statement, the NWSL said it is “aware of the current volatility in the cryptocurrency marketplace… We will continue to monitor the situation and its possible impact on our partnership.”
