The NWSL Championship on Nov. 20 will now be played in Louisville, as first reported by The Athletic and confirmed by EQZ. The game was originally slated for a 9 a.m. local kickoff in Portland; this gives the game a noon local kickoff time while keeping the same CBS TV window. The ongoing fan discontent and uncertainty over the Thorns’ handling of a 2015 investigation into Paul Riley appears to be a factor, too.
