The Northern Super League in Canada has detailed its expansion process targeted for the 2027 season. The NSL, Canada’s professional women’s soccer league, currently has six teams. The league announced its partnership with Whitecap Sports Group (WSG), an international investment bank and advisory group, to “actively recruit and evaluate potential new ownership group[s] for new club opportunities across Canada, with a particular emphasis on markets in central and western Canada,” per a press release.
