U.S. women’s national team head coach Emma Hayes was honored along with several U.S. players at this year’s Best FIFA awards.
Hayes was awarded her second Best FIFA Women’s Coach trophy, while goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher was voted Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper.
Naeher was also named to the Best FIFA Women’s XI, along with Lindsey Horan and Naomi Girma.
The Orlando Pride’s Marta was named winner of the inaugural Marta Award, recognizing the “most beautiful” goal of the year.
FC Barcelona and Spain midfielder Aitana BonmatĂ won her second consecutive Best FIFA Women’s Player award, following her 2023 victory in the category.
The Best FIFA women’s awards were voted on by captains and head coaches of each senior national team that is a member of FIFA, along with select media members.
