American forward Mia Fishel has officially signed for Chelsea, multiple sources confirm to The Equalizer. The four-time defending champions of England’s WSL paid a $250,000 transfer fee to Mexican powerhouse Tigres, multiple sources said. Fishel left UCLA early and signed with Tigres in January 2022 despite being selected fifth overall in the NWSL Draft by the Orlando Pride. Fishel’s move to Chelsea could help put her on the U.S. national team radar.
