U.S. Soccer sporting director Matt Crocker said on Monday that he remains uncertain about whether new coach Emma Hayes will be in the U.S. women’s national team camp that begins next week, but he is hopeful. “It would be an ideal situation for her to come and meet the players and staff and we’re very hopeful that that can happen,” Crocker told reporters, citing the need to respect Hayes’ current employer, Chelsea.
