Mallory Swanson was stretchered off the field with her left leg stabilized on Saturday in the first half of the United States national team’s 2-0 win over Ireland in Austin, Texas. Swanson was taken to the hospital for a left knee injury, according to U.S. Soccer. Swanson went down after a tackle just before halftime. Swanson had scored in all five previous U.S. games in 2023, tallying seven goals total.
