Lindsey Horan is staying in France. The midfielder has been officially transferred from the Portland Thorns of the NWSL, to Olympique Lyonnais in France, for an agreed upon transfer fee. Horan joined Lyon, on loan, in January 2022. “In our discussions, Lindsey expressed her desire to remain there long term and continue that journey,” Thorns general manager Karina LeBlanc said, via a team release. Horan was named to the U.S. roster for the World Cup.
