Liga MX Femenil, after Saturday night’s riot during Queretaro vs. Atlas, has postponed its Week 9 Clausura fixtures. There have been multiple reports of deaths. A few matches were already played, including Atlas/Tijuana, Mazatlan/Necaxa and Pumas/Pachuca over the weekend. The others will be postponed.
On March 5, a violent and fatal riot broke out during the Queretaro vs. Atlas game in (men’s) Liga MX. Liga MX President Mikel Arriola addressed the violence on Twitter.
