Lee Nguyen, former U.S. men’s national team midfielder and previous assistant coach for the Washington Spirit, has joined the Kansas City Current as an assistant. Nguyen was on the Washington Spirit coaching core that won the 2021 NWSL Championship. In Kansas City, he joins interim manager Caroline Sjöblom, and will join the team for their June 14, UKG NWSL Challenge Cup match against the Chicago Red Stars.
