Defender Kelley O’Hara, a two-time world champion and an Olympic gold medalist with the U.S. women’s national team, announced Thursday that she will retire from professional soccer following her 2024 NWSL season with NJ/NY Gotham FC. She is also a two-time NWSL champion, with the Washington Spirit in 2021 and Gotham in 2023. “I just want to say thank you to every single person who has cheered me on and supported me through the years,” O’Hara said.
