Racing Louisville forward Kayla Fischer will serve a three-game suspension for a hair-pulling incident that resulted in a red card during Saturday’s match against Angel City, the NWSL announced on Thursday. Fischer was ejected in the 67th minute after a video review showed her pulling Angel City midfielder Madison Hammond down to the ground by her hair on a corner kick. Alyssa Thompson converted the penalty that was awarded as a result, but Louisville held on for the 3-2 win. Fischer apologized for her behavior in a statement issued to ESPN on Thursday.
