Two-time World Cup-winning coach Jill Ellis has been elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame in the Builder category, the HOF announced on Wednesday. Ellis, who guided the United States women’s national team to World Cup titles in 2015 and 2019, joins players Lauren Cheney Holiday, Landon Donovan, and DaMarcus Beasley in the class of 2023. Holiday played on the 2015 World Cup-winning team. Only coaches were considered for this year’s Builders category.
