Three days after Italy’s 3-2 loss to South Africa in the Group Stage left them third in Group G and out of the knockout rounds, head coach Milena Bertolini posted a long goodbye on her instagram. She concluded her message by announcing that she would be leaving the Italian women’s national team after many “beautiful and intense years” and wishing the squad luck in the future.
