Lindsey Horan will wear the No. 10 shirt for the United States after Carli Lloyd retires. Lloyd, whose final game will be Tuesday, presented Horan her No. 10 jersey on Wednesday. Only Lloyd, Aly Wagner and Michelle Akers have previously worn No. 10 on a permanent basis. Horan has worn No. 9 for the U.S. since Heather O’Reilly’s retirement. Horan said that, for now, she’ll keep secret who the next No. 9 will be.
