Lindsey Horan is set to stay at Lyon beyond her initial loan period, head coach Sonia Bompastor told media this week. The Portland Thorns loaned Horan to Lyon in January 2022 “until June 2023,” they said at the time. The Thorns had simultaneously signed Horan to a contract extension through the 2025 season. Representatives for the Thorns and Horan said they had no comment. Horan last played for Portland in October 2021.
