Haley Carter, Orlando Pride general manager and vice president of soccer operations, has filed a grievance with FIFA against the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) on behalf of forward Grace Chanda who sustained a ruptured quadriceps tendon while competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Once Chanda returned to Orlando, she was placed on the season-ending injury list, leading to the club’s complaint over Zambia’s treatment of the injury. The grievance was publicly announced during the broadcast of Friday’s match against the Houston Dash. According to reporting from BolaNews, FAZ secretary general Reuben Kamanga said he had not been informed of the complaint.
