Scott Parkinson is out as head coach of NJ/NY Gotham FC, the team announced Thursday. Gotham is 4-8-0 this season and has the worst goal difference in the league at minus-15. Parkinson was announced as head coach last August, replacing Freya Coombe — who left for Angel City. Parkinson helped Gotham reach the 2021 NWSL playoffs, where the team lost to Chicago in the first round. Who will be interim coach is not immediately clear.
