Four groups officially expressed interest to FIFA about hosting the 2027 Women’s World Cup. A joint bid from the United States and Mexico is joined by bids from Brazil, South Africa, and a three-country joint bid from Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Each group must now submit necessary documents by May 19. The 2027 host will be chose on May 17, 2024. The Women’s World Cup has never taken place in Africa or South America.
