The FIFA Appeal Committee confirmed its ban on former Spanish Football Association (RFEF) president Luis Rubiales. The ban restricts him from all national and international football-related activities for three years. The decision follows his inappropriate behavior at the FIFA Women’s World Cup including a non-consensual kiss of Spain midfielder Jenni Hermoso during the awards ceremony. Rubiales will have 10 days to request a motivated decision.
