Damaris Egurrola will play for the Netherlands. She applied to FIFA for a one-time nationality switch in November since she was capped once for Spain, but a source familiar with the situation said the decision was made even well before that. Egurrola, a holding midfielder for Lyon, was eligible to play for the Netherlands (Dutch mom), Spain (Spanish dad) or the U.S. (born there). She will join the Netherlands for games in April.
