Current reportedly turn to Chris Armas as head coach

According to multiple reports, the Kansas City Current are finalizing an agreement with former U.S. standout and MLS coach Chris Armas. The 53-year-old was capped 66 times but a knee injury cut short his chance to play in a World Cup. Armas helped the Chicago Fire win MLS Cup in 1998. He has coached the Red Bulls, Toronto FC, and Rapids, helping the Red Bulls to the Shield after taking over midseason in 2018.
