Boston’s 2026 NWSL expansion team, currently known as BOS Nation FC, has officially signed a 10-year lease with the City of Boston to use White Stadium, the team and Mayor Michelle Wu announced on Monday. A lease was a major hurdle in construction beginning to renovate the stadium to be ready for March 2026. The cost of construction has roughly doubled in the two years since the NWSL awarded the team. The lease could go up to 30 years with potential renewals.
