Christine Sinclair will return to the Portland Thorns for an 11th NWSL season, the club announced on Tuesday. Sinclair has played with the Thorns since the club’s inaugural season in 2013, winning a third NWSL Championship on Saturday. Sinclair was eligible for the NWSL’s first free-agency period. She announced the news at a championship rally at Providence Park: “I’ll be back next year… to win a fourth one of those… And f*ck Seattle.”
