Christen Press tore her right ACL and will miss the rest of the NWSL season, Angel City FC announced Monday. She sustained the injury Saturday against Racing Louisville. “My heart is broken,” she tweeted. Earlier Monday, United States coach Vlatko Andonovski said that Press was not called up for World Cup qualifying even before her injury, stating that other forwards are in better form. She had four goals and one assist in all competitions.
