Chicago Stars FC announced that Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium in Evanston, Ill. will serve as the club’s new home for the 2026 National Women’s Soccer League season. The 12,000-seat stadium with turf field was built as the interim home for Northwestern football on the shore of Lake Michigan. SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill., served as the Stars’ home for over a decade, during which attendance numbers were bleak. The club will play its Wintrust Lakefront Faceoff match at the stadium on September 7 before the 2026 move.
