The National Women’s Soccer League has fined San Diego coach Casey Stoney and Houston Dash coach Sam Laity for comments made during post-match press conferences on June 9 and June 11, respectively. The NWSL cited Section 12.2.5 (e) “Prejudicial Statements and Public Criticism” of the League Operations Manual in both incidents.
