Carlos Cordeiro, who resigned as U.S. Soccer president in March 2020 following the federation’s misogynistic legal filings in the equal pay fight against U.S. women’s players, announced that he is running for U.S. Soccer president again. “In recent months, members across our Federation have approached me with their concerns about the direction of U.S. Soccer,” he wrote on his campaign site. Cindy Parlow Cone, who was VP and succeeded Cordeiro, is running for re-election.
