The San Diego Wave announced that goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan had signed a new contract, locking the Canadian starting goalkeeper down through the 2026 National Women’s Soccer League season. Sheridan’s previous contract with the team was through 2024. “[Kailen] continues to demonstrate that she is the most well-rounded goalkeeper in the world,” Wave head coach Casey Stoney said. “Her shot-stopping ability, leadership and distribution make her a major asset to Wave’s success.”
