The Canadian women’s national team did not train in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, five days before the expected start of the SheBelieves Cup.
TSN was the first to report the Canadian Soccer Players Association were issued the threat of being sued by the Canadian Soccer Association if they do not participate in the SheBelieves Cup.
The Canadian Minister of Sport, Pascale St.-Onge has said she will be getting involved to help find a resolution.
