FIFA announced on Friday that Brazil will host the 2027 Women’s World Cup. Brazil is the eighth nation to host the tournament and first in South America. The 2027 World Cup, which will be the 10th edition of the tournament, will welcome 32 teams to venues across the country including 2023 champion Spain. Brazil received 119 votes and the joint bid from Belgium, Netherlands and Germany came in second with 78 votes.
