A new era has been ushered into women’s football in Brazil, shortly after the closing of another chapter. A few days after Pia Sundhage was removed as Brazilian women’s national team manager, the federation announced Arthur Elias as the new coach. Elias has coached in Brazil his whole career with Nacional Atlético Clube, Sport Club Corinthians Paulista and Grêmio Osasco Audax Esporte Clube.
