On Wednesday, Angel City announced that the club agreed to transfer defender Alanna Kennedy and midfielder Katie Zelem to the London City Lionesses. Kennedy leaves after less than a year in the NWSL, having joined ACFC in the 2025 preseason. Zelem joined during the 2024 campaign.
Both players have vast international experience, representing Australia and England, respectively. Prior to Angel City, Kennedy played for Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. Zelem played for Manchester United before joining ACFC.
