Juan Carlos Amoros will not be back with the Houston Dash in 2023. The Dash thanked Amoros for his time shortly after the news was broken by Theodore Lloyd-Hughes for The Striker. Amoros was named interim head coach on June 15 and led the club to a 6-2-3 record and the club’s first playoff berth. They lost their playoff debut 2-1 to the Kansas City Current. Amoros will pursue other opportunities, possibly within NWSL.
